CURRENT CASTING OPPORTUNITIES

STAND-UP COMEDIANS

Rimo Vision Group is excited to announce an opportunity for stand-up comedians to showcase their talent at our forthcoming Comedy Night Fundraiser. We invite both emerging and established comedians to contribute to the success of this vibrant event, taking place at Second Story Theatre, located in Hermosa Beach, California. The event is currently set to be on Saturday, 12/07/2024.

We are curating a diverse lineup of performances and are interested in featuring both clean and adult comedic material. Selected comedians will be allotted a performance slot of 10 minutes. The event schedule is structured into two sessions: the first session, from 7 PM to 8:30 PM, and the second session, from 9 PM to 10:30 AM.

This is a holiday-themed show, so material related to the holidays (of all faiths) is highly encouraged.

(While your entire set doesn’t need to focus on the holidays, we’d love to hear a few jokes on the theme!)

Selection & Participation:

  • Successful applicants will be notified via email within 5 business days. We reserve the right to choose which show you will perform in.

  • This is a fundraiser event for a nonprofit theatre company. Hence, chosen comedians must sell at least four tickets to secure their participation in the event (Bringer show). Failure to meet this requirement will result in forfeiture of the performance opportunity. Tickets must be sold a week before the event.

Please be advised that segments of the event will be professionally recorded for promotional purposes. Rest assured, due credit will be attributed to the performers featured in the marketing material, and you will be provided with a video for your own use.

We eagerly await your submissions and look forward to a captivating and successful Comedy Night Fundraiser. Thank you for considering this opportunity to collaborate and exhibit your comedic prowess.

Please read carefully the following statement:

Please note that RimoVision Group is entering agreements directly with performers and not through agents or representatives. If you are represented by a managing agent, we strongly advise consulting with them before agreeing to participate. We allocate a portion of our budget to marketing and printing, and any withdrawal from a commitment after being included in the lineup incurs additional costs for adjustments. As this event is a fundraiser aimed at supporting our production efforts, withdrawing contradicts the purpose of the event. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring the success of this initiative.
