She survived a kidnapping, a border shootout, and a car crash that took out an entire government office. She calls it luck.
Mallory Hope has just crossed into a fractured near-future Canada — one of the last stable countries left standing — and lands in a refugee camp tent with a smile on her face and absolutely nothing to her name. Her only neighbor is Dewin, a sharp-tongued conspiracy theorist who talks to someone no one else can see. Her only currency is a relentless, borderline-delusional optimism that refuses to quit no matter what the universe throws at her.
Then the universe throws her into the body of the most dangerous man alive.
When a black-ops resurrection experiment goes catastrophically wrong, Mallory finds herself the unwilling vessel for Darnall Assrar — a cryogenically frozen billionaire tyrant reawakened seventy years after his death, and none too pleased to find himself in a woman's body. As two consciousnesses fight for control of the same brain, a power-hungry daughter, a scheming confidante, and one wonderfully anxious non-binary doctor scramble to decide humanity's fate — while Mallory just wants someone to notice she's still in there.
Equal parts razor-sharp comedy and dystopian fable, The Luckiest Woman Alive asks: what actually makes a person worthy of a second chance — and what happens when hope refuses to know its place?

MARGARITA FERNANDEZ
Margarita has been with Rimovision since 2023, starring in multiple roles both behind and on stage. This is a full-circle moment because her first role was a stagehand for this play, and now, 3 years later, she is the lead. She champions original, comedic stories that confront the difficult realities of our modern world. This is the second showing of The Luckiest Woman Alive, and it's ready to be loved all over again. The story has had light retouching since its last debut and still holds true to the original plot. It still leaves that wonder if the future belong to the powerful, or to the people who refuse to stop hoping?
DEWIN
TODD MARTINEZ
Todd Martinez is an Orange County–based actor and director who has worked professionally in the Southern California theatre scene since 2023. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from California State University, Fullerton, with emphases in sexology and consent, and a Master’s degree in Arts Management from the University of Oklahoma, with emphases in stage direction and consent in live theatre. He plans to pursue a PhD in Arts Administration, where his research will focus on the efficacy of intimacy directors in live theatre.Todd is the Intimacy and Inclusion Editor for Sexual Communication: Research in Action, a college textbook used in graduate‑level sexual communication courses nationwide. Through his editorial work and scholarship, he contributes to ongoing conversations about consent, embodied practice, and ethical frameworks for performance.This is his ninth production with RimoVision Group; he has acted in, assistant directed, and directed previous shows. Recent RimoVision credits include his directorial debut, Evil Fish Creatures of the 4th Dimension, and his unforgettable performance as the perverted Pastor James Galore in Dracula & Other Insidious Characters — CAN I GET AN AMEN!?Todd serves on the Board of Directors for RimoVision Group and is the company’s Director of Marketing and Public Relations, helping shape both artistic programming and audience engagement.

GRACE LI
“The Luckiest Woman Alive” will be Grace’s fourth production since joining Rimovision in 2024. Grace got her start in acting while living in New York before eventually moving to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams. Though Grace has done work in film, live theater continues to be her passion. The ability to tell stories and co-create with the audience is the crux of why work in theater continues to be a part of her acting career. When not acting, Grace also channels her creativity into her other passion: music. Her next single is set to release in October.

This is my first production with Rimovision!. I moved to Southern California from my hometown of Meridian, Idaho, in 2021 to get my education and pursue my dreams of being on the stage and screen. I received my Associate’s in Theatre from Santa Monica College in 2023 and went on to attend CSUF, where I recently graduated with my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting this past May. This is my first professional job outside of school, and I can’t wait to keep working!

ANNIE LAURIE MALARKEY
Annie Laurie Malarkey is thrilled to be making her Rimovision debut as Jezebel in The Luckiest Woman Alive. Her love of theater began at age eight when she played the title role of James in James and the Giant Peach. She studied sociology and theater at Wheaton College in Massachusetts, earning a Bachelor of Arts. She is currently completing a two-year intensive program in the advanced Meisner acting technique at the Ruskin School of Acting. Originally from Seattle, Annie Laurie lives in Venice Beach with her husband, two daughters, and their tuxedo cat, Flashy.

MARTIN RENTERIA
Martin Renteria is a stand up comedian, actor, and voice actor. His love of theater started in elementary school when 3 human heads operated as one creature. He thought “wow. I hate them so much”, Currently Martin is taking an involuntary break from comedy to develop his acting technique. When he’s not contemplating new avenues of comedy or honing his acting technique, he can be found in his natural habitat: playing video games or a reading a fantasy book of some sort.

Carolina Toma
Carolina Toma is a co-founder and board member of the Rimovision Group, where she has played a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s creative and financial foundation. She has overseen costumes and set design for all Rimovision productions, contributing to the distinct visual identity of each project. In addition to her creative leadership, Carolina has been a major financial supporter of the group throughout its journey toward stability and growth.
Beyond her work with Rimovision, she is the founder and CEO of The Toma Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the care, growth, and professional development of early childhood educators and caregivers.
Carolina is married to Ray Hanna, founder of Rimovision Group, and is the proud mother of Blair, Exander, and Ali—all of whom are involved in the organization in various capacities.
COMPOSER
Blair T.
Blair T. is the second youngest creative member of the Rimovision Group. At just fourteen years old, he has already demonstrated exceptional talent across multiple disciplines. He is a composer and music producer, having created original pieces and led or supervised music production for every company project to date—including contributions to the award-winning production The Border. He also composed two original songs in collaboration with resident artist, singer, and rapper Josh Darcy, created specifically for two of the company's plays.
Beyond music, Blair also contributed to the writing of Butterflies, Lies and Alibis and is currently a drone show designer, working as part of a team that creates drone shows for live events, including films and the 2028 L.A. Olympics.
Despite his young age, Blair has earned certification in Google Cybersecurity and remains actively engaged in community service. He volunteers in his spare time at the women's shelter and within his city, while also supporting the Toma Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting early childhood educators and caregivers.

Deja Carrillo is honored to make her professional stage managing premiere with Rimovision. She started her theatre journey when she was seven years old in The King and I, graduating from CalState Long Beach with a Bachelors in Acting. Working in the industry continues to be Deja’s biggest dream whether in film/tv, live theatre, or supporting from the background. She can’t wait to see what new opportunities come her way and the memories she will hold onto forever.

WRITER AND DIRECTOR
RAY HANNA
Ray Hanna is the founder of Rimovision Group and serves as the writer and director of this production. A writer first, director second, and former actor, Ray is known for creating comedies and satirical works that explore the status quo of communities, nations, and humanity at large. With a particular passion for political and social issues, he weaves these themes—sometimes subtly, sometimes boldly—into stories grounded in human emotion and compelling narratives.
Ray’s love for theatre began at a very early age, influenced by both British and Egyptian theatrical traditions. He started writing at the age of seven and went on to create his first comedy sketch while still in middle school. He often says he prefers the “half-empty” part of the cup, believing that’s where the most interesting stories—and the most fun—are found.
He is deeply grateful to his wife and family for their unwavering support, without which Rimovision would not exist. He also extends heartfelt thanks to the Rimovision team, whose dedication and passion for the arts have brought each new story to life. Special appreciation goes to board members Todd Martinez and Luis Benavides for their steadfast partnership and guidance, and to his daughter, Ali Toma, for reimagining Comedy Nights into a vibrant cabaret-style format that has gained widespread popularity—along with contributing countless hours of hands-on support.
